UNSPOKEN TRUTH FROM THE HEART 2001

steel 3' x 4'; x 2'. My son, a Japanese Literature professor, helped me with the four-character inscription cut into the angle leg of the sculpture. It is a Chinese aphorism, directly translated meaning, "reaching enlightenment through the heart without using words". My writer (and photographer) husband and I loosely translate it "unspoken truth from the heart".
